Dine Out For Kids


Dine Out For Kids (DOFK) will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011. Please check back often because restaurants are added regularly until the day before the event. Don't forget to mention to the restaurant managers and wait staff that you are supporting CIS' DOFK. Restaurants are listed below by counties.

DOFK is possible because of the partnerships with the Georgia Restaurant Association and media partners WSB-TV Family2Family (Northside Hospital, Scana Energy, American Signature Furniture, Kroger, and AirTran); Kiss 104.1 FM, Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Smith & Howard (Certified Public Accountants and Advisers).  CIS of Georgia thanks all of them and also appreciate our donated prizes from AirTran, Publix, and QuickTrip.

After this year's event, diners who visit a participating DOFK restaurant on August 18, 2011 are eligible to win the donated prizes: $20 Publix cards, $25 QuickTrip gift cards and two round-trip AirTran tickets. To enter the drawing, all you have to do is mail your original dining receipt (along with your name, email, phone number and mailing information) from a participating restaurant to Communities In Schools of Georgia, DOFK, 600 W. Peachtree St., Suite 1200, Atlanta, GA 30308.  All original receipts must be postmarked on or before August 31, 2011.  CIS/PLC employees, board members, students and family members were not eligible for the drawings.
